  Apple cider vinegar is widely used as a natural method for weight loss. Add 1 to 2 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar on a glass of water and take it before meal. Don’t put too much apple cider vinegar especially if your stomach is very sensitive. This weight loss method is found to be effective by a lot of women, and is considered a traditional weight loss home remedy. But drinking apple cider vinegar to lose weight may take a little longer time to see results compared to other weight loss methods.

  In short, no.

  The belief that apple cider vinegar can help with weight loss dates back to the 1950's when Dr. D. C. Jarvis, a doctor from Vermont wrote his book, Folk Medicine.

  His belief was that drinking 3 teaspoons of vinegar before every meal will cause fat to be burned rather than stored. It has also been claimed that the pectin vinegar contains will bind cholesterol and remove it from the body.

  Unfortunately, all of these claims have no scientific base and though drinking vinegar is not harmful to the health, it will in no way aid weight-loss.
