A stiff back  will greatly hinder  us  in performing challenging  fitness routines such as abs exercise. Cobra Stretch And Prayer Stretch Complement Weight Loss

These two stretches will allow you to flex the  lower back to prevent injury. Cobra stretch  is simply lifting your body off  the ground and extending it backwards. Hold  for 20-30 seconds before you return back to the original position. The prayer  stretch is a well-known yoga pose  that is performed after  doing abs workouts aimed at weight loss and meant to stretch the lower back.

Both stretches will require you to lie on your back  after doing a nice round of  weight loss exercises. It will help ensure   a good lower back stretch and  enhance flexibility where it is needed the most.

The pelvic tilt  is done by lying on your back,tightening the abdomen while flattening the small of the back against the floor.Doing  the stretch for 5-10 repetitions will do a lot of good for the back. Likewise the knee to chest stretch  is done by also lying on the back,knees bent and pulling the knees towards the shoulder. These will not only ease  the lower back but  will ensure that  you will not experience pain in your  weight loss routines.

Piriformis Stretch And Basic Twist To Aid Weight Loss

The Piriformis Stretch is simply putting your right ankle over your left leg just above the knee and leaning forward. Just repeat the procedure using left ankle and right leg and do the necessary repetitions. On the other hand, basic twist  requires one to  bend the knees, bringing it up to the chest and then lowering it to the floor and vice versa. It requires  the necessary breathing procedures,too. These  stretches are a good  complement  to one’s weight loss exercises.

The Cat Stretch And Neck Roll:Weight Loss Complements

The cat stretch  as the name implies requires one to mimic a cat’s stance  and dropping on all fours while doing breathing routines  that will round up the back. On the other hand, the neck roll is a simple  stretching exercise that  requires one to let the head fall forward  and rolling it side to side  while keeping neck and shoulders relaxed.These are great stretches that  will greatly aid you  while  ensuring weight loss  and over-all fitness.
