While I like the idea of low GI diets, I’ve personally found it’s much easier and more effective to follow a diet of lean proteins, fruits, veggies, and healthy fats. It you remove the processed and refined carbs along with the starches you’ll find improved insulin sensitivity and effortless weight loss. Plus there’s no need to count calories. Even still it’s a great idea to look for lower GI foods and having awarness of what’s low GI vrs high GI will certainly help you.
