  Cabbage soup diet is under the classification of a fad diet. Diets that goes around that says it is effective in losing weight fast. It is a diet NOT ADVICED by experts because it is NOT HEALTHY and may give harmful effects to the dieter. Having Cabbage Soup for 7 days with some inclusions of specific items is how they define it. Yes it is high in fiber as most vegetables and fruits are. It is low in fat and salt depending on how you cook your soup and your ingredients. Such a fad diet can affect your whole body system including your heart with the abrupt change. The body will also adjust in the starvation by putting your weight on a plateau stage. Your muscles will be lost resulting to sagging since it will eat up the protein due to a very low protein intake. You can lose weight and still be healthy with the proper dieting AND NOT FAD DIETS.
