  No, Cryolipolysis is actually opposite of Liposuction. Liposuction involves melting of fat cells using laser or heat therapy, and then siphoned off using a slender canula. Cryolipolysis does not use heat nor does it melt fat cells. Instead it uses cold therapy and freezes fat cells to death, thus helping in re-contouring the body.
