Psychology plays an essential role in losing weight. Weight loss is not merely accredited to physical effort. You must also be psychologically or mentally prepared to succeed in this endeavor. To be able to lose weight effectively, you first need to have an ideal self image in your mind. This will be your goal. Also, working out and dieting will never be effective if you are not psychologically prepared to lose weight. There will be a continuous rationalization and hindrance in your weight loss endeavor if your psychological aspect does not accept the fact that you are overweight and you need to lose weight.
