Overweight and Obesity are both related but are defintely two different things. Both these descriptions are applied to people who are clearly carrying more body weight than the normal range for their age, height and frame. If you want to know for sure if you are obese or overweight, use a BMI calculator. generally adults who have a BMI between 25.5 and 29.9 are overweight and BMI values of 30 and above are obese.
