My advice would be one that is sustainable, which basically means a plan that is balanced and contains all major food groups. Fad diets cannot be sustained fo rlong as they usually do more harm than good in the long run.
I've tried it and it definitely works. I felt much more full even when eating salads. My only criticism was remembering to sprinkle on each meal was difficult.
From what I have read, SENSA enhances the chemicals that are released when eating food that travel to the brain, fooling it into thinking you have eaten much more than you have.
I bought the Wii Fit when it first came out and the system itself is great. The yoga program is brilliant for core stability and burning a few calories but in terms of raising the heart rate considerably and for serious cardio routines it falls short. It does however weigh you and record progress which makes it a good addition to any exercise routine.
Trans fats are a fat that is created via a process called hydrogenation. They are also called hydrogenated fats. Hydrogenation is the process of turning a liquid oil into a solid fat and they are mainly used in processed foods and fast food snack. These fats are not essential fatty acids so do not offer a lot of nutritional value but instead contribute to increased risk of heart disease, by lowering levels of good cholesterol and raising levels of harmful cholesterol.
This completely depends upon your age, height and build. BMI or Body Mass Index goes someway to trying to give individuals a guide to healthy weights based upon age and height but it struggles to cope with very short heights and also people who weight train because muscle weighs more than fat and can skew the outcome.

This varies based upon your height, weight and how active you are in your daily routine but the UK average daily guidelines are a calorie intake of 1940 calories per day for women.
Fat contains the most calories per gram that you consume at 9 calories per gram. Protein and carbohydrates both contain 4 calories per gram.
Interestingly, as well containing twice as many calories as carbs and protein, it is also the most easily stored in the body as fat if not burnt through exercise.
Carbohydrates is the next most easily converted to and stored as fat followed by protein. Which is part of the premise the Atkins diet is built upon.
If diet and exercise are either not working or not possible then consulting your physician can give you a number of options. Firstly, psychological support in the form of counseling or alternative treatments like hypnosis and NLP can help to deal with breaking compulsions and addictions. Prescription medicines are available like Alli, which block the absorption of fat can can be bought over the counter in most countries if you are above a certain BMI. The last resort is usually surgery. Gastric bypass or balloons can help you lose weight but they obviously come with certain risks attached. So it really depends on your situation. The first thing is to acknowledge the problem and speak to an expert so that you can make an informed decision about what is best for you.
30 percent of children in the UK are over weight according to the NHS and this is usually down to poor diet and lack of exercise. For me it really comes down to education and fun. How can you introduce better quality foods into their diets and still keep food fun? And how can you get them more involved in fun activities that raise their heart rate for 20 minutes plus each day?
Making fun shapes with vegetables or getting them involved in the cooking and preparing of meals is a great way to inject some fun into food and ignite their passion for it. Smoothies made of fruit and green vegetables are also incredibly beneficial and easy to drink for children. Exercise is about finding a club you can sign them up to or taking the dog for a walk or simply walking to school together rather than taking the car.
In extreme circumstances I've lost as much as 7 pounds in a week and if you are obese you can lose up to 20 pounds in a week. But this means a very strict balanced diet and at least 1 hours exercise per day. If you are obese you should consult a physician before attempting to lose weight this rapidly. The healthcare professionals in the UK www.nhs.uk recommend a maximum weight loss goal of 2lbs per week if you are not medically assisted.
According the OECD - www.oecd.org - in 1989 the percentage of the population that was considered obese i.e. had a BMI of over 30 stood at 12.7%. This figure has climbed sharply to 18.8% in 1997 and soared to 26.5% in 2007 which is latest data available.
It really comes down to burning more calories than you consume. It's a very simple equation and there are a few factors that influence weight loss or gain.
If you either add exercise to your routine and therefore burn more calories than you consume each day, you will lose weight. Otherwise you can limit your calorie in take each day to below the rate at which you burn calories just going about your daily routine. It is estimated that it takes a calorie deficit of 3000 to burn 1 pound of fat.
Preparation is the key. IF you fail to prepare, prepare to fail. Depending upon how long I am travelling for I will either take some of my essential ingredients with me or carry my own raw food bars and other easy to store items with me.
